So there was this big fight at Jackson Middle School a couple days ago apparently. This one kid, pinned down another, and was socking him in the face. The victim came out of it with a fat lip, blood, and two black eyes. My mom saw this catastrophe and decided, hey, i should call the principal. So she did. And then she started bitching and bitching and bitching about how nobody was doing anything. and i was like, mom. honestly? do you REALLY think somebody was going to do something?! Let’s see why nobody would of stopped it:
1) These are groups of 12 and 13 year olds. Mind you their still young. And honestly, if you saw a rampaging kid throwing punches and hella angry, would you step in and stop them? Probably not, fearing he’d get angry at you and start hurting you as well. It’s just a survival instinct. And lets look at the age again! I mean, seriously, these kids aren’t even in high school yet, do you think their gonna do anything? No. Their not. They don’t know what to do, their scared, their not going to do anything. plain and simple, and my mom did not seem to grasp this simple concept.
2) These children think its COOL. My brother would not stop exclaiming on how cool this is. so fighting is pretty lame sauce, but every middle school loves to see violence, so why stop it when it’s right there with you? If you didn’t like it, you’d leave. That’s why the kids were just standing around, they dont know the toll it’s gonna have on that poor kid getting beat up, so they stand and watch.
3) ITS A HUGE FIGHT. My mom was bitching about how nobody would stand up for him, and i was like, mom. he was throwing punches, and she was like well jackson stood up for wilder when wilder was in trouble. (wilder = brothers best friend) and i was like, yeah. but nobody was throwing punches!
So now that that’s out of the way, my mom decides to throw this at me: Well he shouldn’t have been beating him up, i don’t know why he did that. All i replied with was “…it’s middle school.” and she was like “oh it can’t just be middle school” and i retorted back that yeah, thats all it takes. If i was a boy in middle school, there would of defiently been some huge fights. I HATED the people in my middle school, people would of had some hella bloody noses. middle school is a pile of dog shit stuck to your shoe, it sucks.
